You already know us, John and David Cataneo, and Angeline Hudson, as Gateway Plumbing and Heating. Now we expect Toro Plumbing and Mechanical to become another household name as we continue to offer our more than 80 combined years of experience to our loyal, and new, New Jersey customers.

What does this name change mean for current, loyal Gateway customers who live in New Jersey?

In simple terms, it’s a change of name. TORO will honor ALL warranties and service contracts previously held by Gateway Plumbing and Heating and our customers can continue to expect the same professional, expert workmanship that they’ve come to know and rely on when working with Gateway.

Who We Are

Dave Cataneo

Partner

Dave is a 2nd-generation professional Master Plumber, licensed in New Jersey and New York City. Dave also holds licenses for installing and testing Fire Suppression Sprinkler Systems and Backflow Prevention Device Testing and Certification.

John Cataneo

Partner

John is Dave’s younger brother and business partner. Having worked since teenagers in the business created by their father in 1976, the two are lifelong business partners. John is a Master Plumber, licensed in New York City and is the Steam and Hydronic Heating Boilers and Systems Instructor at Mechanics Institute, a 230 year old trade association at www.GeneralSociety.org.

Angeline Hudson

Partner and Office Manager

Angeline has been running back-office operations her entire career. Toro is fortunate to have her on board as a full Partner.
